Delete your account
How to delete your DMediQ app account and what happens to your data.
The DMediQ app is used by staff of hospitals that subscribe to DMediQ. Your login belongs to your hospital, so deletion is handled together with it.
How to request deletion
- In the app: open More → Delete my account and tap Email support, or
- By email: write to support@dmediq.com from your work email with the subject "Account deletion request", and include your name, your hospital and your login (email or employee code), or
- Ask your hospital administrator to deactivate your login in DMediQ (Administration → Users).
We confirm the request with your hospital and complete it within 30 days. You will get an email when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your app login is closed and all your sign-in sessions are ended.
- All push-notification tokens and device details for your account are deleted.
- Your app notification history is deleted.
- Personal profile details not required by law are removed or anonymised.
What is kept, and why
- Clinical entries you made in patients' records (for example signed notes) and the audit log of who accessed records are kept by the hospital, because medical-records and other laws require it. They remain under the hospital's control and retention rules.
- Payroll, attendance and statutory HR records are kept by the hospital for the period the law requires.
Deleting the app from your phone removes the data stored on the phone (hospital address and sign-in tokens) but does not close your account.
